Boston Partner Kimberly West has been jointly appointed by Governor Charlie Baker and Attorney General Maura Healey as an inaugural Commissioner of the Massachusetts Peace Officer Standard (POST) Commission. Kim is one of three jointly appointed Commissioners by Governor Baker and Attorney General Healey. In announcing the appointments, Governor Baker stated, “”We are pleased to appoint a diverse range of experts to the POST Commission, and look forward to their work to create a more effective, just and accountable law enforcement system in Massachusetts.” The firm is proud of Kim’s leadership role in the Commonwealth’s important efforts to, as Attorney General Healey stated, “enhance accountability and transparency, build public trust, bolster public safety, and provide enhanced training, guidance and support to police officers across our state.”
