Emily Slaman is a skilled litigator who supports the firm’s clients in white-collar defense and complex civil litigation matters.

Emily has experience with a variety of litigation matters including employment, construction, and white-collar defense. Prior to joining the firm, Emily was a litigation associate at a respected regional firm in Boston, where she represented individuals and businesses in various civil and criminal matters throughout the Commonwealth.  Emily has represented corporations and professionals under investigation with state licensing boards, including the Board of Bar Overseers, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, and the Office of the Inspector General.

Emily is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where she was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta honor society. She graduated from Suffolk University Law School. During law school, Emily clerked for a boutique criminal defense firm in Boston, served on the executive board of the Women’s Law Association, and was a two-year member of the National Moot Court team.

Emily was selected by Super Lawyers as a Massachusetts Rising Star in 2024 and 2025, and a “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers in 2026. Emily currently serves as a board member and section chair of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Emily is also proficient in conversational German.
